Punk Pedagogy

Punk is loud, creative, challenging, angry, and sometimes even revolutionary. But “educational”? What does it mean to see punk as a form of public pedagogy? What can we learn by thinking of it as a practice of informal education?

This website is an effort to think in public – like punk does – about these matters. We want to share information and create a dialogue about how we understand what punk does in the present and what it has done in the past.

Check out the topics below. We have started with the topic of archiving zines and will expand over time.
